About Teddy Bear Fair and Teddy Bear Collector

Teddy Bear Fair was originally conceived in early 2005 as an internet site for bringing everyone and everything to do with teddy bears together in one easily accessible format. Teddy Bear Collector.com has been introduced to focus on the interests of Collectors, many of these interests exist within Teddy Bear Fair.com and therefore both sites have been directly linked.

Teddy bears have to be seen, touched and hugged – there is no substitute for the real thing.  Getting to know them will encourage new makers and collectors and we need these newcomers to sustain everything we love.

Teddy Bear Fair is available to both those who make bears as a hobby and those who are the established professional and commercial makers and service providers. The success of this site and its concept is dependent on as many people as possible exhibiting both their products and events.  It is a dynamic site and if we regularly update our content, visitors will always see something new and be encouraged to return time and time again; and hopefully tell their friends.

A key feature of the site is the Forum, which is provided for everyone to talk to one another, to make connections, ask questions (and get answers) and share information on techniques, trends and, in fact, any topic within the teddy bear arena.  This feature has an outline structure, but as it grows it will develop a format around what you want of it – so give it a go.  This is the future and you can be an important part of it.
