I just finished him last week. :)
Leroy is a life-sized chinchilla and I made him for a lovely lady in memory of her own pet chinchilla who sadly died earlier this year. I hope I've managed to capture the chinchilla look. He sure was a fun project to work on.

Note Mij's 'whiskers'. :6034: I had to dye them black to use them here.
I hope you like him.

Lisa, you are simply AMAZING!!! As Kynthia says - I thought he was real too. Mij will be pleased all her stray mane hairs are being put to good use! :D. They dye very easily too, don't they.
What is your next project Lisa? Can't wait to meet him/her.
Cheers,

Oh Lisa, he is amazing! Very chinchilla like! I bet the lady he has been made for is VERY pleased! I am very much an animal lover, and think it is a lovely idea as he will be with her forever now :6013:

You have done it again Lisa, your chinchilla is absolutely fanflippintastic :6045: Are you going to Hugglest next month? I hope to be able to catch up with you if you are, would love to meet some of your creations in the fur. Don't forget, we are in the basement in our usual shop if anyone would like to visit, or have an order taken up to Kensington.

Thank you so much. :6088: It's lovely to be able to share my efforts with you, my mum thinks I'm totally barmey to spend so much time making furry animals.
Judi, I do hope to be able to visit Hugglets this time round and if I do I'll make a special effort to say hello. On previous times I've just hovered by your door in silence, you've always been so busy. Good for you though! :)
Sheila, I've just made a start to a prosimian. :D

Hi Hayley,
Thank you for your lovely words.
I'm not sure about the Nottingham fair yet. I'd like to go but I may only be let out for one fair this year and if so I'd prefer it to be Hugglets (there's far more eye candy on view there). :p

I wish I had a picture of my rabbit, Blossom, She was gorgeous and I loved her to pieces! She sadly died about 4 years ago, and I still miss her. I have had loads of rabbits in my life but she was special. If I find a picture, I may be in touch :)
