I wonder if someone could donate a teddy bear to Hearing dogs for deaf people (Derby Branch)

we want organise a "Teddy bear traveller" where people can take this bear with them to wedding, holiday or stay at their house for few days or 1 - 3weeks, in return for donations and pictures and write in diary of on what teddy bear been doing.

this will help raise money for hearing dogs for the deaf people.

I would like this to be a special bear, not too small or too big, about our hand size (sorry not got tape measurement!!) that easily travel by post. (Royal mail!!)

W will need name for it too!

thank in advance for any donation

Sorry I can't help I'm afraid Debs. I've only just donated a large bear to the 'Dare to Care' auction in aid of the NSPCC, so I'm all donated out this year ... and my bears wouldn't fit in a hand!

Good luck with your charity though, hearing dogs are amazing!

I dont mind which..

I would prefer bear artist to make it special but brand bear still lovely!!:)

Not that small just big enough where people can dress teddy up in little clothes and costumes for photo shots to post to us. (get the idea?)

:6088: Yes, I think I can help. I am currently making a wee bear - about 8" or thereabouts. I would happily donate him in aid of Hearing Dogs for the Deaf. Would you prefer him to have straight legs so he can stand, or bent legs where he can sit on the edge of shelves etc and let his legs dangle?
I am a great supporter of Hearing Dogs, and and took a two year course on British Sign Language. Only problem is finding others to practice the signing with.
Best wishes,
Sheila.

Hi,
Will let you know when the little bear is ready. He hasn't got a name yet. I will send a photo of him before I post him.
Take care:6046: and best wishes.
