British Bear Artist Awards ( So Excited !!!)

Hi Everybody ,
I've just opened my post and out dropped a Nominee rosette for this year's British Bear Artist Awards !! :6013::6013: I'm SO excited now Whoooooo !

I'd almost forgotten about it too . I entered a 3" dressed bear in the Single Miniature Cat'.
Anyone else heard anything ??

It has been a long wait and I did ring up the other day to see if the list had been published in case I'd missed it.

It's a long way to Brighton ......... but I think it's important to support the British Bear Artist industry.

I now have to carefully consider the trip to Brighton ( as a very lovely lady offered to take my piece if I don't feel I can get there) I really do hope that I will be going though ; be lovely to meet up again Sheila :) I think you're right Shelly , that we need to support the event and the spirit of it too .:6026:

I've started looking in to maybe staying overnight at Tunbridge Wells - I can't imagine how crushingly busy Brighton will be by then (!) It will slightly shorten the outward journey too :) seems a lovely place to spend the day .

Emma , do you get Teddy Bear Times ? They usually carry quite a few ad's for the Hove Fair/ British Bear Artist Awards throughout the year (which acts as a reminder for the timing) . This year I think we had to get the entry fees/details in by the end of July , and the photos in by end of September . The magazine usually carries details of any date changes (last year there were extensions)
I'm assuming the TBT due out next week will have all the details of the 2009 nominees - and it probably has contact details re next year's awards :6024:

British Bears on the Net will usually have details of any upcoming competitions too .
