hello! i am based in suffolk near stowmarket,i make 3" teds and am a bit of a novice i am self taught through lots of reading! i so wish there was a class locally but it appears nothin bruin in east anglia! the nearest mohair to me is prod Oakley fabrics in luton beds one day i will take up a bundle of money and spend spend! i am also going to make larger teds 15" in the new year anybody else out there too would love to here from you! mel:6045:

I am from Norwich so I am a little way from you but still in east anglia.I have been making bears for nearly two years and only know a few people from around this way who make bears.I love using schulte mohair so I wish Oakley was a lot nearer too as there is no where to go to locally for fur although we have a large craft shop which I often visit.I often make bears around 15 inches as they seem to be my favourite size.My smallest is about 9 inches and that is small enough for me.

just seen the two threads....
haven't been on for ages!

teddytums are mainly 8-10 inch bears, altho bigger do arrive!
I work full time,so continued bear births are limited!
I have 3 still to be finished!

I live in Peterborough and miss the odd trip i made to Oakleys. Dawn (DD&M)
was so helpful- as too the bear making workshops.

Ive just found this website and Im from Peterborough too! There really is nothing round here that gets my bear juices flowing! Although I vow that one day when I have some money I will open up my own bear shop in the area! :6013:
