Hi Everyone

OK i know this is completely random but I'm working my butt off on bear number 3 for my ice skating coach for Christmas, have been holding off the footpads as I've really been struggling to get them to sit straight and round.
I've just finished both and they are as near to perfect as I could have asked for.
I'm so happy... Yay!

Does anyone else get this feeling when they finish that tricky little thing that's just ben bugging them? It feels so great to be finding my own way of doing things. I feel like an artist at last.

I used to hate doing the foot pads as well, after a lot of practice I finally found a method that worked for me. I must admit I dread doing the nose thats the bit that I can never get quite right. Hannah

Definitely have the bug Shelia and glad to be part of the clan - think I'm going to try your ear method on my next bear having given it a full read now. I don't know what I used to do with my weekends before this. You just can't stop. New fabrics, new patterns, new faces.

And yes noses are my next least favourite thing but I find with a few attempts and some patience I manage to crack it. Finishing the nose and eyes are always the most satisfying though because that's when you finally see your bear and he sees you back.
