Just brilliant, Jenny!! Perfect in every minute detail. Do you think your vast knowledge of hairdressing helps with the scissor sculpting? How about opening a salon just for bears.

Sheila ..it definitely helps...after 33 years of cutting hair the scissors become an extension of your fingers..and it becomes instinctive. Yvonne will bear me out on this ( no pun intended) as she was/is a hairdresser too. It certainly helps as I do cut them fairly confidently in almost the same way as I cut clients hair...just not the same styles!!!LOL!!

Hi Sheila, Jenny.......yes I think the hairdressing gives us confidence to snip away, it just comes naturally after all the years in the trade....mind you I wish I could get to your salon Jenny ....I could do with a good haircut!!!!!!!

Hi Laurie...funnily enough our two dogs do have a 'teddy bear ' cut when the go to the grooming lady...Here's one of them...have a crafty rest on the washing!!!!

I have added a couple of pictures of my dog that I use for practice haircuts-poor boy.One photo of him is where he is admiring the view at the top of the hill at goathland station in Yorkshire-just after we had spotted an adder!The other was also taken in Yorkshire.His father is Starchelle Chicago Bear who won crufts in 1995.
