Happy new year 2010

It has been an interesting year in the bear world. 2009 began with all talk of doom and gloom and the recession forcing a lot of makers to give up and get 'proper' jobs. As the year progressed what began as a trickle of makers coming back, turned to a flood of new makers joining our ranks and by the September Huggletts, things were rocking again. Good old Kirsty did her bit for the industry just before Christmas and we will welcome the next group of makers to the fold. Who know what they will produce, we might find another Lisa or Shelly amongst them. Richard has only just started but how keen is he, everyone has something to give and we the established bear makers on the forum; will give our support and help whenever it is needed.
We would like to thank all of you that support our forum, to Sheila for her unfailingly sharp eye as a brilliant moderator and to wish you all a very HAPPY NEW YEAR for 2010

I'm so happy to have joined the bear world and honestly cannot get enough!
Thank you so much to you and again everyone for all your help, support and wisdom and I can't wait to meet people at Hugglets in February.
It sounds like I couldn't have joined the bear world at a better time and I'm very excited to see where this journey will take not only me but the rest of us too.

Happy new year, Its been a really exciting year for me as both my Childminding buisness and bear making has slowly taken off, Im really looking forward to my first bear fair in March, and I thank everyone on the forum for their support and advice, I know I have a long way to go in the bear making world yet and hope 2010 will take me a little closer.
