Clothes for Vintage & Antique Bears - Sewing Patterns please?

Does anyone know of a good sewing pattern for teddy bear clothes? I would be especially interested in Edwardian style clothing e.g sailor suits, military uniform, coats, capes and waistcoats.
I've seen some nice vintage teddy clothes available to buy but would much rather sew them myself so they will be more personal to my family.

Oh how I love that bear and his jacket! Teddy bear clothes are always it seems to me a bit of a challenge. Bears are a very awkward shape.
In my limited experience I have found books regarding antique dolls clothes a real boon. These obviously have to be changed and adapted accordingly, but can be a good way to start.
Before bears I collected antique dolls and one particular book that was my 'bible' was 'The Encyclopedia Of Dolls Clothes' ( I think it was by someone called Coleman). This book is very interesting and takes you through the amazing history of childrens fashion.

Theres one book on Amazon called the well dressed bear by Geraldine Thistlethwaite. Hope this helps, it would give you a starting point and could adopt the basic patterns. Hannah

There's plenty of books about antique clothes for dolls - bought couple myself - so if you are good at alerting patterns you could also check out those.
