Malting Mohair

Hi Everyone

I've just finished the BEST bear I've ever made. It's a realistic 43cm polar bear - pictures on their way :D... Anyway, excitement aside, he's made out of a very dense 18mm white mohair which just will not stop malting. Is there anything I can to stop this?
I've brushed him lots and lots throughout the making and after but he's still shedding. Have I simply got to wait for this to stop with time?

Dont know much about this problem Rich but Iam sure someone on the forum can help. I can only think there must be a limit to how much mohair actually comes out. (there must be an end in sight!) Cant wait to see pics! :)
