In 2002 we bought our daughter Lizzie a Teddy Bear from Mothercare. It soon became her favourite bear. It went everywhere with her and gave her comfort when ill or sad. She is now 7 and in October it went missing.

I have looked everywhere for a replacement and wondered if anyone can help me find one.

It is tan coloured and yet they did do a lighter version which would be ok as we could die it. Lizzie is quite distraught about it and it has affected her school work.

Can anyone help me?

Heather

Hi Heather,

It's always so sad when this happens as little people get so attached to their cuddly guys. Have you contacted Mothercare for the manufacturer's contact details, perhaps they still make it for another retailer. I had to hunt for the Raymond Briggs Snowman by Eden a couple of years ago for my oldest son and I eventually found one on Ebay. It did take quite a long as they made various sizes but he was one happy boy in the end.

Hope you get one.

Maryanne

Yes I have contacted Mothercare on several occasions. They have not replied to my last email. I will keep trying. Thanks for the kind words.

Hi, I know you posted this ages ago but I've just come across this ebay auction and wondered if it was the same type of teddy?

You might have already managed to find one but I thought I'd link to these just in case - I was hunting on ebay for a spare for my daughter when I came across them!
