Oh Ruth.......he is gorgeous. You are just so clever to create something so special with such endearing features in that tiny scale. How do you sew such tinies, do you sew entirely with the right side out? I imagine turning would be extremely difficult.

Well done, Ruth

Doesn't this one just melt your heart? :D

I tried to make a mini once - I killed it - please don't tell the Teddy Police :6086: :6086: (In truth - my arthritic fingers wouldn't work on such a tiny thing)

Thanks Sheila ,Shelly and Sandra :) The only bits not turned from inside out are the ears, which are a single fabric piece.I think it helps that Upholstery Velvet (ie best fabric for most teenies) does not fray, unlike the mohair which you would all normally work with.I use very fine pointy eyebrow tweezers to grip raw edges and "tease" the pieces right side out !! Oh and big secret tip alert!! I use teensy bits of shrinky plastic for the dogs identity tags ;) (mind you it still has to be tiny writing before shrinking !!)

Ruth he is lovely, you may have athritic hands, but I can vouch for your eyesight. The writing on the name tag on Poppy's collar was so small, that I could not even see it!! Hope to see lots more of you super work on the forum this year. :6087:

Oh it's ok Judi ,I think it was Sandra who had the problem with her fingers -I must admit I would dread that as things in "Micro World" DO get fiddly !!! I used to do cross stitching a long time ago,but it gave me shooting pains in my fingers afterward- anyone else get that ???? Thankyou so much everyone (chuffed):) :)
