Any suggestions where I can buy Teddy Bear Times magazine from. :6022: I see W.H.Smith no longer stocks it, resulting in all my local newsagents unable to acquire it either. I particularly want the latest issue which I believe is '185'.
I would be most grateful for any ideas of how to obtain regular copies of this illusive magazine.

Thanks,
Sheila

I know this isn't going to be the same as the real thing but you can have a year i-mag subscription to Teddy bear times for 10 pounds and you get acces to all the back issues
or you can order the issue 185 via https://www.ashdown.co.uk/comersus/store/comersus_viewItem.asp?idProduct=1557

Hope this helps

Hi Shelia

As Annette says I subscribe through Ashdowns. 6 issues a year, delivered straight to your door and only one payment a year to worry about. :D

Hi Sheila, My Dad got me a copy from W H Smith a couple of weeks ago. I know Ashdown are out of stock because I tried to get it from them. Maybe a phone. call to another branch of Smiths?
Hope you are lucky.

Vanessa.

Hi there Shiela I have managed to order it through my local news agent. I would find ordering 6 issues straight off quite expensive myself, but if I start to have trouble, I too will have to do that!

Hi Sheila ,
the big WHSmith I have in the town seems to be very good magazine-wise. Last week they still had quite a few copies of Feb/March (185) issue. Would you like me to get one for you if I can? The next issue will be out middle of next month - so you have a bit of time to pin down a supplier! (perhaps literally - would do the trick? ;):6086:) HeeHee

Hi Ruth,
That would be brilliant if you could track down a copy of issue 185 for me. Perhaps if you could post it to me and I will reimburse you plus postage of course by return.
In the meantime I will place a regular order with possibly Ashdown starting with the April/May edition. A few years ago every newsagent sold all the beary magazines. It's not as if bears are out of fashion, are they!

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. Much appreciated.
Sheila.

Nooooooooooooooo Bears can't go out of fashion :6031:I love them way to much and what would become of the world if there weren't any bears.......... thats the stuff of nightmares and then I'd need my teddy........................

I do find it a pity that teddybear times used to be a monthly magazine and now is bi-monthly and I believe they used to have teddy.tv station on internet (correct me if i'm wrong) and thats now gone, which I find a real shame because it could help us newer bear makers with explaining different techniques etc. Oh well maybe in the future it will come back.

It is such a shame we can't get more access to magazines - I was in Germany at the weekend and they had no less than three magazines on the magazine shelves with about 9 bear patterns in each - I'm not very good at German mind but bought them all the same just for some of the lovely patterns.
