Hey everyone :)

Just wondered if anyone had any links to video tutorials on any aspect of bearmaking. Especially needle sculpting, scissor sculpting or pulling toes and embroidering noses? I've watched Nany Tillberg's video tutorial at E Bearz University and found it really helpful, so I'd love to find some more like that.

Thanks! (Promise I'll have bears to upload soon):6013:

oh and can anyone give me some help on how to fix a waxed nose that went very, very wrong?! :P

It's not got some of the more 'detailed' stuff but for basics, including nose etc. there's a DVD that Christie Bears sell and it's brilliant, definitely helped me.
I also know there's two (one being more advanced) advertised in TBT but I'm at work at the minute and can't for the life of me think what they're called etc. Oooo it's called Make It Beary, if you google some more information might come up.
Whilst not a video particularly I can also highly recommend Pipkin Bears Bear Making CD Rom. It's packed full of pictures and also has some really useful information on noses and scissor sculpting.

As for waxed noses, how did you go about it and what exactly's gone wrong? If it's lumpy from the sewing I think you're only option would be to try and start again or stitch over a more neat row of stitches and try again? Although don't hold me to that.
Alternative, and if you have bits of wax outstanding etc, try blowing lightly on the nose with a hair dryer, then using the back of knife drag off any excess wax etc. Once this is done buff the nose up and you should have jobs a good 'un.
Paula of All Bear has good photo demonstrations of this on her blog which are worth the search.

Hope this helps.
