Hi from a newbie

Just joined and wanting to say a quick hello.
I've recently been bitten by the bear making bug - and loving it!

I've made 8 bears so far, from bought patterns but am hoping to start designing my own soon.

A big welcome from me too. Welcome to the unescapable world of bears :D

I would also love to see some of your creations. As for designing you should definitely jump straight in. If you can make a bear, it's dead easy to start designing. Try altering a pattern you already have, or just use the body or head and draw everything else from scratch?

Actually, I counted up my bears this afternoon and I've made 10, not 8. As soon as I get some decent photos, I will try to add them, so at least you can have a good laugh! :D.

Silly question now - where should I add photos? Would it be the "Show & Tell" section?

Show and Tell is the best place for photos, but they are most welcome in any section.
