Ernie is 10" tall and weighs 8 ounces. He is made of white mohair. He is stuffed with polyester and has glass beads in his tummy. Ernie has black glass eyes and is fully jointed. He has a crocheted hat and waistcoat.

He looks like the perfect train driver or station conductor, very cute.

He does look like a train driver or conductor. Once I put his hat and waistcoat on he reminded me of Underground Ernie (my nephews favourite cartoon).

I did use a random dyed thread. I spotted that and a paler pastel coloured one in hobbycraft, and I liked the colour. I might go and get some more in more colours.
