What is the best way to store bears please?
I have made so many now and am running out of space, so I put each bear in a cellophane bag (unsealed) and bunged them all into a large plastic storage box. I want to protect them from moths, sunlight, dust etc. Have I done the right thing?

Plastic! :6014:
The trouble is that with variations in temperature you will get condensation which can cause mould, rot etc.
Get yourself a load of silica gel sachets and store these with the bears.

Oh dear, trust me to do the wrong thing!
Thanks a lot for putting me right. I now wish I hadn't thrown away all those silica gel sachets I find in things I buy. :D

I've also heard that rice absorbs moisture (thats why sometimes you find it in salt shakers) or another one coffee ground (dry in a sock) not recommendable if you don't want your bear smelling of coffee. there are are also special moisture absorbers normally used in caravans during the winter when they are in storage... just a few ideas if you can't get hold of those wonderful sachets...

Thanks Annette.
I'll transfer the bears to cardboard boxes as a temporary measure. I already have some Cedar wood cubes I can place in the boxes to keep the moths away. Will also do some research on silica gel sachet suppliers - try saying that quickly! :)
