Yep, that's me. I'm starting to think bear collecting is bigger in Europe than it is here. I can't find any bear fairs where I live or where I can travel to. One of the things on my bucket list is to go to a bear shop or bear fair. I usually hate shopping, but I'd probably live in a bear shop.

There is a great shop in Mamouth Mountains in California, it is a Christmas shop but over the years I have had some lovely bears bought for me by my friend, a beautiful reminder of her now that she has passed away. (Thanks Cathy) :6030:

Oh, I love that shop in Mamouth!!! We used to go there quite frequently when we lived in CA...

If I ever go to California, I'll have to hit that shop. Do you guys know of anywhere closer? I live in Tennessee, and that is quite far. Every time I go to a store that has bears, I have to go look at them, but as I do not necessarily go for the collector bears, I can usually find bears anywhere, but it would be so cool to go to a store where all they had were bears. They would probably have to force me out of there. I'd probably have to hug every bear they had.

Well there is only one thing for it, you will have to come to the UK. We have Teddy Bear shops galore and in February and September the biggest Bear Fair held in London, with artist attending from all over the world. The best thing about the shops and shows, you are encouraged to pick up and hug the merchadise, what other shop would allow you to do that!! So, thats your holiday planned for 2011 hehe :D
