Here's a couple of photos of Joe Bear, my first attempt at my own design. I'm pretty pleased (and slightly surprised ;) ) at how he turned out, but there are a few things I would change if I made him again - I guess it's all a learning curve and a great excuse to make another one!!

Thanks everyone, I can't wait to make him a friend but with the move getting closer I've had to pack all my bear making kit away.:6022:

I have managed to keep out a couple of the books that were recommended on here though and so am gathering ideas and tips for the next bear. Stuffed leather noses caught my eye last night - has anyone tried these and got any tips? Also I want to try padded feet that I've seen on some bears on here - again any tips greatly appreciated!
