What's your next project? Mine is ...apart from just keeping up with the every day bear making....to go on the air brushing course that I have had planned for months with my friend who is a wedding cake designer so we are going on the same course...that should be a hoot!! Then I plan to airbrush everything that stops moving.

Then I want to redesign my cat and rabbit patterns...and I have whim to do a quirky cat that I have had in my head for ages...a bit of a Japanese looking thing with a teeny tiny body and big head....that should take me to Christmas.:6045:

I have started making smaller bear, usually 6" - 7" which is about half the size I used to make. My next project is to be brave and start sewing them on the machine, so far they are totally hand sewn, but it takes forever as I have mild arthritis.

On a non bear making subject I am about to enrol our dog for agility, that should be a hoot! She is small and nimble and I quite frankly am not. However the lady where we have been taking said pooch for obedience has told us that she is up to standard for agility. If nothing else it should look amusing as Millie has large ears, not quite Dumbo but you get the picture.

Oh and one last thing gearing up for a certain fair in France, anyone heard of it? :6026:

Dog Agility is just fantastic fun, Steffi. My dog, Badger, a bearded collie has been doing agility for about two years now and simply loves every single minute of it. And as for the exercise for us mere humans, well it certainly beats going to the gym! Although I have to admit there are occasions when I would welcome some oxygen after racing round a one hundred and twenty feet of sand school. Just before Christmas our agility club competed against a rival club and much to my amazement, Badger won two third rosettes and then went on to win outright the Shield for the dog that had made the most outstanding progress throughout the year!!
Go for it Steffi. Both you and Millie will have a wonderful time.

I've started another bear, it's going to be girl this time I think, and I have some lovely faux fur that I got from Hugglets for the project after that, (that's one's not going to be a bear however). :6045:

Well, I'm going to have a break from bear-making for a couple of days because I'm pretty tired after yesterday's show and so far, today has been really busy! But I'm very excited because I just booked to do an online course for cloth doll making and I'm really looking forward to it, because I miss having a hobby now the bears are full-time business, so I thought this might satisfy that creative need!

Well I have just finished my little project I originally started off with the intention of redesigning or at least designing a new anime style bear but when I started to sketch out my ideas something completely different evolved. So here is Wilma a Wabbit a rather funny and fun character to make.
