About two months ago I went to an antique store looking for an old bear. Their bear selection was kind of blah, but they had a Boyd's bear that stole my heart. I didn't get him that day, but a few days later I went back and he was still there, so he came home with me.
His previous owner was a lady who collected Boyd's bears, but she passed away so her daughter brought her huge collection to this store. The lady told me she thought he came out in the 70's, but the tag on his bottom says copyright 1988 to 2001, so I'm not sure when he was made. The hillarious thing is that I named him Retro. If he came out in 2001 he's probably laughing at me for calling him Retro. If anyone knows anything about this bear, I'm really curious when he was made.
