Hi i'm new to the site, we have been sorting through some of my daughters teddy bears and have come across a fairly old bear....we have found out that it was 1 of the mother-in-laws...this bear was bought for her when she was born in 1945/46 so its roughly 66yrs old.....any help to identify it would be greatly appreciated

Hi, and welcome to this lovely forum.:6034: It would be a great help if you could give the following info:

How tall is the bear
Are the arms/legs/head jointed.
Is there evidence of any labels.
Do the arms/legs have paw pads or are they same fabric as rest of bear.

All info helps a great deal in identifying your bear.

thanks.....the bear is 10 inches tall, the arms, legs and head are not jointed, no evidence of a label..arms and legs have no paw pads just same material as rest of bear...the head is stuffed with wood wool and the body with a hair type material

hope this helps to identify it
