Upload an image a post..I can't seem to do it without it being an attachment

Hi Jenny

click on the yellow picture thing above and a box appears for you to write in your URL. If you have a photo on your website of the image you want to insert right click on it and click onto properties, another box will appear and give you a URL link to that photo copy and past it into the URL box for TBF and your photo should appear in the message. (Thats how I did anyway)

I just want to upload a file..I don't have a URL...Oh Well!!

Hi Jenny,

When you type your message, click on the paper clip icon then you can upload a file (make sure it's not too large). Once you have uploaded it, you will need to click on the paperclip again to select the file. this will then embed the file onto your message....

Here's the other problem then..I can't make out why one photo loaded when it was 31kb then when I tried to load one that was a bit smaller I kept getting a mesage that it was too big. I checked and the photo I'd uploaded on the other thread was bigger than 19.5kb...so how come it uploaded..and how do I get my pictures to be a decent size, reasonable quality but still be small enough to load..I am stumped.

:6022: I agree with everything Jenny says!!!! The paper clip on my computer went to a different school to everyone else and it only sends pictures as attachments, that is on a good day, otherwise it just rejects the pictures.

However, I am not going to be beaten by a machine, so I shall master it eventually.

Thanks Judi...it isn't that I can't load the pictures..it's the sizing..I can't get them to upload..and at 19.5 kb they are so small I can't see them...so I am probably doing something very wrong!!

We've changed it so that you can upload images to 512Kb.
