Hi,

my first post so be gentle with me :)

Been collecting teddys for 2 years odd now mainly the TY ones, but have others, especially ones with great character. Didnt realize there was on line forums (till today) so thought i'd better sign up. On the look out for the Cornwall (Kernow) TY teddy that came out this year, if anyone knows where to get one for a good price...

On a final note, whilst trawling the net for Teddy information, came across this site about the Woolworths Wooly sheep teddy (hotwater bottle cover) looks like a home made site, but ceretainly made me laugh :D

That is brilliant! I've just shown it to everyone here and we thought it was so funny.

It's a good idea to have a site like that. I have a alpaca bear that I brought back from Peru about 3 years ago when I did the inca trail (I spent 3 weeks touring arequipa & cusco, but I lost my poo bear when I climbed up the huge mountain behind macchu Pichu - I was terrified from the heights and I ended up losing my bear in the panic:eek: ). I think might dedicate a web page to the travels of my new bear.

Welcome to our new site Eric Claude and Allen. It is nice to know that we have some overseas visitors now and there are a lot of bear makers in France, so should be plenty of people to talk on-line.:p
Loved the Wooley site Allen, we all though it was soooooo funny and everyone wants to look at it, so Monday orders will be late this week. Please complain to Allen, not me!!
Look forward to seeing a lot of you at the Ally Pally on Sunday.
Judi :)

Thankyou for the warm welcome,

yes the site was very funny and i think your right, i expect the people who made it had quite laugh thinking up all his antics, i might look in on it from time to time to see what else the little wooly one gets up to.

Still trying to find a Kernow TY bear if anyone has any idea's ?

I go to alot of markets and car boot sales and pick up some great bargains, ebay also seems quite a good place, though sometimes the prices go a little high for certain bears, where do other collectors look for new members of a ever growing bear family ?

Hi there
I haven't heard of the cear you are looking for but I have quite a few TY bears myself that I am thinking of putting on ebay as I haven't the room for them anymore. Is it the small or large TY bears you collect?
Hope you have luck finding the one you want. Let me know if there are any others you are interested in and I'll see if I have any of them. I haven't collected them for several years now so if you are looking for any older ones I probably have them.
Great site by the way.
