... or is the registration thingy hard to nail? I've just made about ten attempts to copy the letters and numbers in the box and couldn't get it right! A notice to say it's case sensitive might help ... also, some of the letters are hard to distinguish. I'm reasonably pc savvy, but I must admit to initial frustratation with this.

That said ... GREAT SITE! I've just fiddled with the pic uploading and am now fully functioning! Very exciting!!! :)

How did I find the process? A bit confusing to be honest. The home page is very straightforward and I like it very much. I think it's going to offer great things for the UK teddy bear market. Registering separately for forum and accounts is a bit of a convoluted process though. Still, I got there in the end, I'm pleased to say. :confused:

One small suggestion would be to use the Teddy Bear Fair logo featured in the top left corner, as a link to the home page. That way, when hopeless cases like me wander off course, there's always a quick way back without having to rely on clicking the browser 'back' button a squillion times.:p

Right, I'm off to find out who's who and what's what now!! ;)

Hi Paula, we're really pleased to see you here.

If registering was easy everyone would be on it and then we'd have to buy a bigger server and everything!:o

Most of the points you have raised are currently under review and will take a few days to resolve as Paul has just become a dad for the first time and is missing some sleep. I don't think we will be introducing the 'logohome' button though. If you look at the Welcome Paula window above you will find the navigation route displayed on the left side. Click on any of these to take you back.......you shouldn't have any need to click on the back button. It took me 2 weeks to realise that, so I also learnt the hard way.

If you have any difficulties in the future please don't hesitate to bring them to our attention, we intend to spend a lot of time refining this site to make it the best in the world!!:D

Good to know you're already planning a few fiddles with TBF ... I think it's going to work beautifully! I must admit, I like things that I can grasp within seconds or I sulk and lose interest (I know, shame on me!) so maybe I will have to put a bit more effort into working out the navigational system.

So far so good though! I've now sussed the image upload (took quite a few attempts, but got there in the end) sorted out an avatar and found my way into the forum to chat, where I have stumbled across several old friends and one friendly ol' reprobate ... ;)

We've just spent the whole day upgrading the website & adding new modules on the web server to make the image verification more legible within the registration process. It now appears soooooo smooth :cool:

This should fix the issues with deciphering the letters. The image will look as clear as this....
