Hi have just found your forum - have been making bears for a short time ( mainly mini bears) have just made a 4½ little fella in plush mini fabric, he has two tummy seams and 2 seams on his back giving him a hump back, I would like to make him again about 8 inches tall, if I enlage the pattern on my copier to 175% will it all come out in proportion? I have made small adjustments to size maybe 10-25% on the copier before on patterns but not of such magnitude - any advice would be welcomed - or suggestion of where I can obtain a suitable pattern to copy :

Welcome to this friendly forum. There is always someone here that has the answer to our questions. Now then, about enlarging - I do it all the time. I just couldn't imagine teddy making without my enlarger/copier. I think you are about right with 175%. It will be slightly under the 8" you were looking for. Does your enlarger go up in 1% degrees? If so then 180% might be nearer the mark.
I'm sure the proportions will be correct, but you could adjust any part after you have printed the pieces, if for example you think he should have shorter/longer legs for example.
Have fun experimenting and show us a picture of your new designer ted.

Small adjustments to the size are generally OK, but the larger you go, and the more seams you have, the more it will affect the proportions.

To be absolutely sure you are getting it right, you need to remove the seam allowances, enlarge the pattern, then re-add the seam allowances.
