Hi everyone, here are some instructions to upload images and avatars:
Posting Images
When you type your message, make sure you're in the 'advanced' editing page (not in the 'quick reply')
click on the paper clip icon and a new window will open (this shows a table displaying the filetypes, maximum filesizes & image dimensions that you are allowed to upload)
then click the browse button and your file browser will open to locate your image
when you locate the file, select it and press the open button (file browser will close)
then click the upload button to upload the image file to the server(make sure the image is not too large)
Once you have uploaded it to the web server, it will list the attachment above the table (you could click it to preview it)
Then click on the close window link to close the upload windowIMPORTANT: In order to embed the image into your message, you also need to complete the following:
click on the paperclip again
then select the filename to embed the file in the message.
Your image is now embedded into your message
You can only upload maximum of 5 images per messageAdding your Avatar
To set up your Avatar, firstly create an image you would like to use, size it to a maximum of 80 x 80 pixels and save it as a GIF or JPEG. Then log in to the Forum, open your User Control Panel (User CP) and click on 'Edit Avatar' in the Left Hand Navigation Box.
Follow the instructions in the window and upload your image from your computer. Click 'Save Changes' and hopefully that will do it.
