Public Groups

Just noticed that 'All Bear is not a member of any public groups' on my profile and was wondering what that meant and whether 'British Bears on the net' was a relevant membership? Oh and if so, where I go to add it ...

If the forum administrators created any additional usergroups (i.e. visitors) - we can set them up as public / private joinable usergroups.

If this option is enabled then users will be able to request membership to this group from their User CP. Join requests are queued up in the Usergroup Manager where you can handle them all at once.

I'd ignore it as we're not going to set up any user-definable usergroups on this forum. We preferred to create community sections based on the geography of the users instead (Wales, Eire, England, etc)
