Hello: could someone please give me advice on label making for bears? Are there inkjet fabric printers available? or any other type of fabric label making devices? Thanks

I think there may be a method but National Weaving and JJ Cash do custom made sew in labels. Cash's are the cheapest , you get 144 for £12.50 and you get to pick your own motif, colours etc. National Weaving are more expensive on the standard designs at £25 for 144 but if you want your own design they require you to buy less than Cash's do. I got mine from National weaving and we did our own artwork. They look very professional.

There may be a machine but I think the woven ones are more durable.

I found this: Brother PT 1950VP P-Touch 1950Vp Label System ...is this what you are looking for?

I've been using 'Direct Marketing' for years. They produce a nice satin sew in label ... email: diverse@eidosnet.co.uk

hi there
If you want to make your own fabric labels by printing them yourself through the computer try www.craftycomputerpaper.com They sell all kinds of printable fabircs for the computer. I use the sticky or iron on cotton, print my labels and then stick them onto coloured fabrics which make fun fabrics labels for my bears.

Hiya

I use www.minilabels.co.uk, I think it's £17.50 for 144 "designer labels", there's about 1/2 a dozen or so deisgns to choose from.:)

How about looking in the Exhibitors section under 'tags and labels'. I'm sure there's someone there as well.

Hello

Depends on how many you want to have in the first instance. As I was only just starting to make bears, I bought a label kit at Cole Bros in Sheffield. I had 35 labels made for £5.50, not such a bargain when you see what others can do, but for just a few I thought it was a good deal. You bought this little pack, filled in your details and posted off and they arrived very promptly.

Lorna:)
