I kinda have Christmas bears Paula, I did not want to over do the Christmas theme with them and simply added gold bows and bells to their necks, but they where inspired by Christmas I do hope they count
They are called Twinkles Tutu

Here's a Christmas bear i made last year, i don't know if i will be making any this year as i am so busy with other things - perhaps i will. ha ha
I quickly made a little xmas avvie too - the file size here is ridiculously small i hope that we can get them larger.
Mel - your twin bears are so lovely and graceful looking and Paula, you know i love your bears and this new one is no exception.

How lovely to see the Christmas bears arriving!!! They are such a treat! Great work you two! :6030:
I need more of these if I'm ever to crank up my festive feeling levels ... (It's been a stressful year and so I'm starting early to make sure my Christmas cheer definitely arrives on time!;) )
Penny thanks for your compliment, *reaches for the blushing smiley!* The frosty fabric (Bedazzle bear) has a pretty metallic thread running right through the pile .. it's subtle, but sooooo pretty!!! Great new avatar by the way Penny!!
This alpaca guy is from a couple of years back. I made him for a feature in the Teddy Bear Scene magazine. He's called 'Rabblerouser' and is about 25". Now I just have to make some time to play with my lovely new piece of bright red mohair which is for this year's Christmas bear .. will take pics when he's ready for Santa's sack!!

Awww Eric, what a shame you fell that way about Christmas, although I love Christmas, I HATE New Year, that makes me feel sad too!!!! I go to bed early and by the time it's New Year's Day, I'm ok again!! Perhaps it's the thought that we're another year older huh!!? :p

Hey you two, you're not helping my festive feelings!!! :6022:
Christmas can definitely be a sad time of year, but we have to make the best of it because it's gonna get us whether we like it or not! (As for New Year, bah humbug!! Now THAT I really don't like one little bit, apart from watching Jools Holland on TV!:p )

In response to the requests for larger Avatars and Profile Pictures, we've now upgraded the avatars to 110x110 pixels and the profile picture has been upgraded to 250x250 pixels.
Don't forget, the avatar is only a form of icon to represent the user!

Only? ONLY?????
It's our identity!! It's a little piece of unique artwork! (And for those of us over the age of forty who don't yet qualify for prescrition glasses (nearly but not quite!) we like to be able to see them.) Thanks for the upgrade ... 110 is still pretty ickle though ... how about if I tell you other forums allow 185? ;)

'Snowbell' was a big un!

Lovely bears girls.
I don't think I'll have much chance of making any Christmas bears this year (we've only got 5 weeks haven't we?) - I've had a couple of lovely bits of red in the cupboard for over a year now, didn't manage to make them last year, can't see it happening this year ....... I suppose there's always Valentines Day:6022:
Penny your avatar is fantastic - what type of software package do you use?

I use Photoshop Vicky but am hoping to start using my new Macromedia Flash Studio software soon...........at the moment it means less than nothing to me but so did Photoshop when i first started.
I am relying on my bloody mindedness and a bit (a lot really) of luck to learn how to use it. I also have the 'Macromedia Flash Bible' to help me along..........it's the BIGGEST book i have ever seen - i may finally lose the will to live after going through it all.
Thanks for liking my avvie Vicky, it's really basic animation but simple is best sometimes and the file size stays small too.

I made these 2.5" bears for a challenge with another group. The "Wee-est" King is having a deal of trouble with his cloak and crown .I always get that nostalgic feeling- through the eyes of a small child- when I think of Christmas.Shame its never gonna be like that anymore :6022: Maybe if I have Grandchildren one day......:p

I'm swapping little Crimbo bears with my sister this year ,oops, need to get started soon
