Just wanted to introduce you all to my latest two custom order creations.

The first is Anto the Tamandua (lesser anteater).

and the second is Sterling the Silver Fox.

Sadly Anto proved to be too realistic for his mum-to-be so he's looking for a new home to go to (though my youngest would love to keep him). Sterling however, proved to be a big hit with his new Mum so he's off on his travels soon, lucky chap.

Any comments appreciated, thanks for looking. :6033:

Kind regards

Lisa

Hi there from Elaine1, I have just been admiring Anton and Sterling.
:) They are so beautiful and look extremely well made. How long did each one take you? Are they made from mohair and what are they filled with?
Iam sure they will both soon find owners, and this will encourage you to continue.
Well done again , and I look forward to seeing more of your work.:6013:

Lisa, How on earth can you achieve such realism in everything you make? My dog has just come up to my computer, and believe me Lisa he was totally convinced Anton was a real living critter!! He tried every trick in the book to prise him out of the monitor screen.

Absolutely brilliant.

Thank you for your lovely comments! I do try my hardest to get them to look 'alive' . Each new animal teaches me something new which is great. Wait till you see what my eldest boy wants me to make him for his 14th birthday! Oh my goodness I sure have my work cut out there! If it turns out too realistic it may just give him nightmares, lol! :6086:

Elaine, welcome to TBF!! :6034:

These two took me about 6 weeks each. I'm not sure how many hours that entailed, it's just too scary to contemplate really. I use a combination of polyfil, steel balls, plastic/rubber pellets for the stuffing.

Regards

Lisa
