We are early birds are'nt we, but i find if i don't get in here early i just don't get in here at all. I am so busy lately. Then in the evenings when i actually do have some free time, i fall asleep!
Ahhh, the joys of middle age

Morning all! I'm sat here in my dressing gown and fluffy slippers ... just about to grab a coffee. Mornings as a self-employed person are just the best! :p
Love the new avatar Penny ... can just about see it if I squint hard enough ...;) (Nothing personal you understand, just a mission to persuade the grand TBF wizard that bigger is better! I am now sporting the new size avatar - can you see the difference? Not really? Hmmn, that's what I thought too.:D )

Yeah, ditto Paula. What colour is YOUR dressing gown? Mine is a rather disgusting washed-out pale blue that goes from my toes to my ears and zips all the way up. My mum would have totally approved of it's matronly modesty. My slippers are cherry red with gold sequins - and i'm not even colour blind so no excuse for the colour clash.
I have run out of instant coffee and am having to make the proper stuff which tastes so much better but obviously, is not instant - which is a real pain!
How on earth do we get soo distracted from the original topics? I like the free fall effect don't you?
Morning Vicky :O)

Ooh, I'm envious of the slippers Penny! Mine are just pink fluffies to match my very pink stripey hoody dressing gown. My postman never sees me in anything else!! :D
Got to agree about the freefall effect too, I'm definitely at my best when unrestrained!!:D

Asda............£4 and as cute as a button but buy them one size bigger as they come up small. The slippers that is. Unrestrained is the best way to be don't you think?
My postman thinks i work nights and i'm too ashamed to tell him the truth - the poor guy apologises profusely for waking me up. Gosh i'm evil.
What are you wearing Vicky? Or are you all suited and booted so early in the day?

But my postie does'nt deliver until about midday Paula.........how sad is that? I am even fully dressed under my dressing gown sometimes as i really feel the cold and if i am using spectacularly messy mohairs/synthetics i wear it to protect my clothes (i throw the dressing gown in the tumble dryer to get all the fluff off).

I wish I did not have to take my little boy to school as there is nothing nicer than staying in my PJ's and dressing gown all day. I must admit that as soon as the evening meal is over I quickly get into my PJ's :6013:

Hiya Penny
Sadly all dressed and rareing to go. I have an early school run every morning, but given the choice it would be dressing gown and slippers. I have to say Saturday mornings are when I'm at my best. TWO dressing gowns - don't like to feel the cold (both a fetching shade of grey/white), pjs and a pair of those sheep skin type boot things. Very attractive. When winter comes I trade in my slippers for the boots, they keep your ankles nice and warm.:6039: I'm painting a lovely picture here aren't I?:6014: - obviously the rest of the time I'm a goddess ...... :6086: LOL

Been there, done that, bought the tee-shirt. Quite a bit of hard work involved ...remember those early days of having to look like a glamour puss? Well, you have to do that all over again - it's a bit of a slog. :6023:

Not yet Penny:6017: - but give them time!
To be honest, I think they are sheepskin, so being a natural fibre I haven't encountered any nasty niffs yet. Hubby bought them for me as a present - thought I'd like them for outdoors (hmmmm), but the feet are like dinner plates, not really a good look. One advantage is you can go out in your slippers and noboby thinks your a nutter:6013:

whereas we know you are?
I can't wear real sheepskin as i have a phobia of all things that were once attached to an animal and no longer are........i'm a weirdo - so imitation sheepskin was the next best thing or at least i thought they would be until they went all whiffy.

Hi Sandra
I know - there's lots of us here today - naughty aren't we. I'm supposed to be altering a little dress to fit a bear, but dress making is not my strongest point, so I drag itout in the hope that when I go back to it, miraculously it will be looking OK

Just been reading through your threads from yesterday, amazing how a 'good morning' ends up with a discussion about smelly slippers.
I wish I had the nerve to log in from work, i think it may be sackable offence so dont risk it.
By the way I wear Flyflot slippers, I love them, and I can wear them all the time, have to known to get as far as the tram stop to discover i am still wearing them, good job i only live about a minute away:6086:

Well, Saturday morning has got off to a good start, I have had such a laugh reading through the post. A simple 'where are you' has turned into a really funny thread. I can imagine you in your 'smelly slippers, bunny slippers, grey dressing gowns etc. and know exactly what you mean, some mornings just dont do it, for you, do they? Today is one of them, its pouring with rain, the dog wants a walk and I have to do the Sainsbury trip, much rather cuddle up on the sofa with a good book. Hope that the weather is better for you in France Eric, I could just do with a coffee sitting in the sunshine in old Nice. :6034:
Hope the day gets more interesting for everyone.

only one post double answer ...
Yes I had coffee and croissant :D
Today it's sunny yes but yesterday we had to pick up children from school because we were on "Flood Red Alert" we don't get much of rain here down south but when it's raining it's scaring enough.
Red Alert was only for the end of afternoon and night. now strom is gone and sun is shining as if nothing happenend yesterday ... that is how South of France is.
I just received a german teddy Bear Magazine "BäerReport" on which there is an article about my show, there also is an advert I bought and there also is my picture because I am one of the member of the Jury for the Ted Worldwild Award 2007 in germany next march.
Paula ... i'm smiling at you.... the blue bear is on picture again in this German magasine. it's going to cost you a fortune very soon lolol :D :D
