I know this sounds daft, but I really want a dog I know they are not just for Christmas after all I am a grown up (honest)....... Awwww , Melanie Jayne... can I cheer you up with a pic of my 2 little girlies .The bigger one is a Papillon ; Lilah , and not very big at all - she just looks huge next to Delphi who only weighs 3lbs ,and is a Chihuahua litter runt! :)

I used to be desperate to have a dog too , so I know how you feel .Now I can't believe I'm Mum to 2 (plus my 3 sons :p )
By the way for Christmas I would like an extra set of arms to do the boring stuff , while the rest of me contentedly sews ! also the ability to NOT get riled by my 16 yr old for once :eek:

Your dogs are lovely Ruth.My dad had a papillon and a chihuahua-but he lost the papillon a year ago.They seem to think that they are bigger dogs than they really are-especially the chihuahuas:)

What would we do without our dogs, both of your dogs are lovley Ruth. My Jack Russell, called Jack, (well with a surname like Russell what else could we call him) lived until he was nearly 20, what a dog. I still fill up with tears every time I think of him :6022:

I have a springer spaniel called zeb, he is a lump but lovely. I very dainty jack russell called trudie and three cats. I have three grand dogs, one called Bella (staffy crossed with whippet, RSPCA rescue dog), Paddy and large beautifully marked Jack Russell, and Shamus who is a scatty Irish terrier, but I love him too.

You two dogs look lovely too.

But what I want for Christmas is a nice George Clooney looky likey, in fact in my youth i did go out with a lad who looked a bit george clooney, but he was called Jim.

All I want for Xmas is £500,00, that would see me up to retirement. and a senseo coffee machine ready for when I can sit in front of the TV do what I want, making bears.
